Background:

Heterodimer with SLC3A2, that functions as an antiporter by mediating the exchange of extracellular anionic L-cystine and intracellular L-glutamate across the cellular plasma membrane.Provides L-cystine for the maintenance of the redox balance between extracellular L-cystine and L-cysteine and for the maintenance of the intracellular levels of glutathione that is essential for cells protection from oxidative stress.

VALIDATION IMAGES

Western blot analysis of (1) HepG2 cell lysate; (2) Mouse brain lysate. Using CCBR1 (bsm-61613R) monoclonal antibody at 1:1000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r.t. for 60 min.

25 ug total protein per lane of various lysates (see on figure) probed with CCBR1 monoclonal antibody, unconjugated (bsm-61613R) at 1:2000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r.t. for 60 min.
