Background:

In mammals, Rac exists as three isoforms, Rac1, Rac2 and Rac3, which are highly similar in sequence. Rac and Cdc42 play key signaling roles in cytoskeletal reorganization, membrane trafficking, transcriptional regulation, cell growth and development. GTP binding stimulates the activity of Rac/Cdc42, and the hydrolysis of GTP to GDP through the protein's intrinsic GTPase activity, rendering it inactive.

VALIDATION IMAGES

Western blot analysis of (1) HeLa cell lysate; (2) NIH/3T3 cell lysate; (3) PC-12 cell lysate. Using RAC1/2/3 (bsm-61458R) monoclonal antibody at 1:1000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r.t. for 60 min.

25 ug total protein per lane of various lysates (see on figure) probed with RAC1/2/3 monoclonal antibody, unconjugated (bsm-61458R) at 1:2000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r.t. for 60 min.
