Background:

Key regulator of striated muscle performance by acting as the major Ca2+ ATPase responsible for the reuptake of cytosolic Ca2+ into the sarcoplasmic reticulum. Catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled with the translocation of calcium from the cytosol to the sarcoplasmic reticulum lumen. Contributes to calcium sequestration involved in muscular excitation/contraction.

Concentration: 1ug/ul

Predicted Molecular Weight: 110

Cross Reactive Species: Human

Paraformaldehyde-fixed and paraffin-embedded Human Fetal Skeletal Muscle tissue incubated with ATP2A1 (3G1) Monoclonal Antibody (bsm-54466R) at 1:200, overnight at 4°C, followed by a conjugated secondary antibody and DAB staining. Counterstained with hematoxylin. The tissue was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH6) for 20 mins.
