Background:
Important regulator of cell cycle progression. Involved in G1 arrest. Potent inhibitor of cyclin E- and cyclin A-CDK2 complexes. Forms a complex with cyclin type D-CDK4 complexes and is involved in the assembly, stability, and modulation of CCND1-CDK4 complex activation. Acts either as an inhibitor or an activator of cyclin type D-CDK4 complexes depending on its phosphorylation state and/or stoichometry.

Lane 1: MCF-7 Cell lysates; Lane 2: U266 Cell lysates; probed with CDKN1B (10B7) Monoclonal Antibody, unconjugated (bsm-51281M) at 1:1000 overnight at 4°C followed by a conjugated secondary antibody for 60 minutes at 37°C.
Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded human skeletal muscle tissue; Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 15 minutes; Blocking buffer (3% BSA) at room temperature for 30min; Antibody incubation with CDKN1B (10B7) Monoclonal Antibody (bsm-51281M) at 1:25 for 1 hour at 37°C, followed by a conjugated secondary antibody for 20 minutes and DAB staining.
