Purified His-tagged FABP4 protein was used to produced this monoclonal antibody.
Purification:
Purified monoclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein G column, eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS.
Storage Buffer:
0.01M TBS(pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol.
Storage:
Shipped at 4°C. Store at -20°C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Background:
Lipid transport protein in adipocytes. Binds both long chain fatty acids and retinoic acid. Delivers long-chain fatty acids and retinoic acid to their cognate receptors in the nucleus (By similarity).

VALIDATION IMAGES
Lane 1: Human placenta lysates; Lane 2: 3T3-L1 Cell lysates; probed with FABP4 (1105CT1.1.1) Monoclonal Antibody, unconjugated (bsm-51247M) at 1:1000 overnight at 4°C followed by a conjugated secondary antibody for 60 minutes at 37°C.
Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded Human lungtissue; Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 15 minutes; Blocking buffer (3% BSA) at room temperature for 30min; Antibody incubation with ANTIBODY Monoclonal Antibody (bsm-51247M) at 1:25 for 1 hour at 37°C, followed by a conjugated secondary antibody for 20 minutes and DAB staining.
Lane 1: Mouse Adipose tissue lysates; Lane 2: Mouse Breast tissue lysates; Lane 3: Mouse Heart tissue lysates; Lane 4: Mouse Thymus tissue lysates probed with FABP4 Monoclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bsm-51247M) at 1:1000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at 1:20000 for 60 min at 37˚C.
