Description:
Selective inhibitor of plasma kallikrein (PLK) (Ki = 0.81 µM) that attenuates arthritis and renal damage in rats with adjuvant-induced arthritis1,2. Its combination with NO donor GSNO in blood samples led to strong platelet inhibition and thrombolysis3. Blocked PLK-dependent TGF-β activation and significantly reduced hepatic apoptosis and mortality in a mouse model of acute liver injury4.
