Description:
Monoterpene natural product first isolated from the western red cedar1, identified as a metal chelator and ionophore with activity against microbial growth2,3. Inhibits mushroom tyrosinase (IC50 diphonolase activity = 0.21 μM)3 and platelet 12-lipoxygenase (IC50 = 100 nM)4.
