Description:
Induces cardiomyogenesis in embryonic stem cells (EC50 = 100 nM)1. Also transdifferentiates lineage-committed progenitor cells, such as mouse hair bulge progenitor cells2 and C2C12 mouse skeletal myoblasts3, into cardiomyocyte-like cells. Useful tool for cardiac stem cell research4,5.
