Host: Rabbit
Target Protein: Myosin Light Chain (Ser-1)
Specificity: The antibody detects a 20 kDa* band corresponding to the molecular weight of myosin light chain in human A431 treated with EGF or calyculin A. In addition, the antibody detects the 20 kDa myosin light chain in mouse C2C12, rat PC12, and rabbit fibroblasts treated with calyculin A. This peptide sequence is highly conserved in human, rat, and mouse Myl9, and in other smooth muscle and non-muscle MLCs.
Modification Site: Ser-1
Clonality: Polyclonal
Isotype: IgG
Swiss Prot: P19105
Source: Phospho-MLC (Ser-1) synthetic peptide (coupled to KLH) corresponding to amino acid residues surrounding Ser-1 in bovine myosin regulatory light chain 9 (Myl9).
Purification: Antigen Affinity purification
Storage Buffer: PBS + 1 mg/ml BSA, 0.05% NaN3 and 50% glycerol
Storage: Storage at -20°C is recommended, as aliquots may be taken without freeze/thawing due to presence of 50% glycerol. Stable for at least 1 year at -20°C.
