Host: Rabbit
Target Protein: eEF2K (Ser-78)
Specificity: This antibody detects a 105 kDa* protein corresponding to the molecular mass of eEF2K on SDS-PAGE immunoblots of mouse C2C12 and Jurkat cells treated with Calyculin A, and this reactivity is removed after lambda phosphatase treatment. This sequence is well conserved in rat and mouse eEF2K, and has low homology to other proteins.
Modification Site: Ser-78
Clonality: Polyclonal
Isotype: IgG
Swiss Prot: O00418
Source: Phospho-eEF2K (Ser-78) synthetic peptide (coupled to carrier protein) corresponds to amino acids surrounding Ser-78 in human eEF2K.
Purification: Antigen Affinity purification
Storage Buffer: PBS + 1 mg/ml BSA, 0.05% NaN3 and 50% glycerol
Storage: Storage at -20°C is recommended, as aliquots may be taken without freeze/thawing due to presence of 50% glycerol. Stable for at least 1 year at -20°C.
