Background:

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the Ser/Thr protein kinase family, and is most closely related to mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAP kinases). MAP kinases also known as extracellular signal-regulated kinases (ERKs), are activated through protein phosphorylation cascades and act as integration points for multiple biochemical signals. This kinase is localized in the nucleus, and has been reported to be activated in fibroblasts upon treatment with serum or phorbol esters.

VALIDATION IMAGES

L929 cell; 4% Paraformaldehyde-fixed; Triton X-100 at room temperature for 20 min; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum, C-0005) at 37°C for 20 min; Antibody incubation with (MAPK6) polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-55129R) 1:100, 90 minutes at 37°C; followed by a conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG antibody at 37°C for 90 minutes, DAPI (blue, C02-04002) was used to stain the cell nuclei.


Lane 1: Hela cell lysates; Lane 2: MAPK6 knockout (KO) HeLa cell lysates probed with MAPK6 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-55129R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4˚C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at 1:20000 for 60 min at 37˚C.


Lane 1: U-251MG cell lysates; Lane 2: A549 cell lysates; Lane 3: LO2 cell lysates; Lane 4: BxPC-3 cell lysates; Lane 5: 293T cell lysates; Lane 6: Mouse Brain lysates probed with MAPK6 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-55129R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4˚C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at 1:20000 for 60 min at 37˚C.
