Background:
Cleaves aggrecan, a cartilage proteoglycan, and may be involved in its turnover. May play an important role in the destruction of aggrecan in arthritic diseases. Could also be a critical factor in the exacerbation of neurodegeneration in Alzheimer disease. Cleaves aggrecan at the '392-Glu-|-Ala-393' site.

Mouse Cerebrum lysates probed with ADAMTS4 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-4191R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4˚C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at 1:10000 for 60 min at 37˚C.
Lane 1: Mouse Cerebrum tissue lysates; Lane 2: Rat Cerebrum tissue lysates; Lane 3: Human A549 cell lysates probed with ADAMTS4 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-4191R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at 1:20000 for 60 min at 37˚C.
