Background:
Binds to activated (phosphorylated) protein-Tyr kinases, through its SH2 domain, and acts as an adapter, mediating the association of the p11 catalytic unit to the plasma membrane. Necessary for the insulin-stimulated increase in glucose uptake and glycogen synthesis in insulin-sensitive tissues. Plays an important role in signaling in response to FGFR1, FGFR2, FGFR3, FGFR4, KITLG/SCF, KIT, PDGFRA and PDGFRB. Likewise, plays a role in ITGB2 signaling.

VALIDATION IMAGES
Molt-4 cells were fixed with 4% PFA for 10min at room temperature, permeabilized with 20% PBST for 20 min at room temperature, and incubated in 5% BSA blocking buffer for 30 min at room temperature. Cells were then stained with PI3 kinase p85 alpha + gamma (Tyr467 + Tyr199) antibody, FITC Conjugated(bs-3332R-FITC) at 1:100 dilution in blocking buffer and incubated for 30 min at room temperature, washed twice with 2% BSA in PBS. Acquisitions of 20,000 events were performed. Cells stained with primary antibody (green) and isotype control (orange).
