Background:
Orphan receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) that plays a role in epithelial cell differentiation and regionalization of the proximal epididymal epithelium. May activate several downstream signaling pathways related to cell differentiation, proliferation, growth and survival including the PI3 kinase-mTOR signaling pathway. Mediates the phosphorylation of PTPN11, an activator of this pathway. May also phosphorylate and activate the transcription factor STAT3 to control anchorage-independent cell growth. Mediates the phosphorylation and the activation of VAV3, a guanine nucleotide exchange factor regulating cell morphology. May activate other downstream signaling proteins including AKT1, MAPK1, MAPK3, IRS1 and PLCG2.

VALIDATION IMAGES
Formalin-fixed and paraffin embedded human colon cancer labeled with Anti-ROS/C ROS Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-2504R) followed by conjugation to the secondary antibody
Lane 1: Rat Cerebrum cell lysates; Lane 2: Rat Cerebellum lysates; Lane 3: Rat Pituitary lysates; Lane 4: Human Siha cell lysates; Lane 5: Human U251 cell lysates probed with c-Ros Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-2504R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4˚C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at 1:20000 for 60 min at 37˚C.
THP-1 cells were incubated in 5% BSA blocking buffer for 30 min at room temperature. Cells were then stained with c-Ros Polyclonal Antibody(bs-2504R)at 1:100 dilution in blocking buffer and incubated for 30 min at room temperature, washed twice with 2%BSA in PBS, followed by secondary antibody incubation for 40 min at room temperature. Acquisitions of 20,000 events were performed. Cells stained with primary antibody (green), and isotype control (orange).
