Background:

This gene encodes a member of the G protein-coupled receptor gene family. The encoded protein is related to the angiotensin receptor, but is actually an apelin receptor that inhibits adenylate cyclase activity and plays a counter-regulatory role against the pressure action of angiotensin II by exerting hypertensive effect. It functions in the cardiovascular and central nervous systems, in glucose metabolism, in embryonic and tumor angiogenesis and as a human immunodeficiency virus (HIV-1) coreceptor. Two transcript variants resulting from alternative splicing have been identified. [provided by RefSeq

Lane 1: Rat Lung lysates;Lane 2: Rat Spleen lysates probed with Apelin Receptor Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-21310R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4˚C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at 1:20000 for 60 min at 37˚C.


Lane 1: Mouse Spleen lysates; Lane 2: Mouse Lung lysates; Lane 3: Mouse Thymus lysates probed with Apelin Receptor Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-21310R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4˚C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at 1:20000 for 60 min at 37˚C.


Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded Mouse brain; Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 20 minutes; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 30min; Antibody incubation with Apelin Receptor Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-21310R) at 1:400 overnight at 4°C, DAB staining.


Lane 1: Human K562 cell lysates probed with Apelin Receptor Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-21310R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4˚C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at 1:20000 for 60 min at 37˚C.
