Background:

The protein encoded by this gene is a transcriptional coactivator that regulates the genes involved in energy metabolism. This protein interacts with PPARgamma, which permits the interaction of this protein with multiple transcription factors. This protein can interact with, and regulate the activities of cAMP response element binding protein (CREB) and nuclear respiratory factors (NRFs). It provides a direct link between external physiological stimuli and the regulation of mitochondrial biogenesis, and is a major factor that regulates muscle fiber type determination. This protein may be also involved in controlling blood pressure, regulating cellular cholesterol homoeostasis, and the development of obesity (referenced from entrez gene.

Formalin-fixed and paraffin embedded mouse liver labeled with Anti-PPARGC1A/PGC1 alpha Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-1832R) at 1:200 followed by conjugation to the secondary antibody and DAB staining.


Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded rat kidney labeled with Anti-PPARGC1A/PGC1 alpha Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated(bs-1832R) 1:200, overnight at 4°C, The secondary antibody was Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG, Cy3 conjugated(bs-0295G-Cy3)used at 1:200 dilution for 40 minutes at 37°C.


L1 rat brain lysates L2 rat kidney lysates probed with Anti PPARGC1A/PGC1 alpha Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-1832R) at 1:200 overnight at 4˚C. Followed by conjugation to secondary antibody (bs-0295G-HRP) at 1:3000 for 90 min at RT. Predicted band 88kD. Observed band size:88kD.\n

Lane 1:Recombinant human PPARGC1A, N-Trx-His(bs-42280P) probed with PPARGC1A Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-1832R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at room temperature for 60 min.


A431 cell; 4% Paraformaldehyde-fixed; Triton X-100 at room temperature for 20 min; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum, C-0005) at 37°C for 20 min; Antibody incubation with (PPARGC1A) polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-1832R) 1:25, 90 minutes at 37°C; followed by a conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG antibody at 37°C for 90 minutes, DAPI (blue, C02-04002) was used to stain the cell nuclei.
