Background:
This gene encodes a protein which is one of several receptor subtypes for adenosine. The activity of the encoded protein, a G protein coupled receptor family member, is mediated by G proteins which activate adenylyl cyclase. The encoded protein is abundant in basal ganglia, vasculature and platelets and it is a major target of caffeine.

Lane 1:rat heart lysates Lane 2: rat brain lysates probed with Anti A2AR/Adenosine A2a receptor Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-1456R) at 1:200 in 4˚C. Followed by conjugation to secondary antibody (bs-0295G-HRP) at 1:3000 90min in RT. Predicted band 64kD. Observed band size: 64kD.
Formalin-fixed and paraffin embedded mouse brain labeled with Anti-A2AR/Adenosine A2a Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-3927R) at 1:200 followed by conjugation to the secondary antibody and DAB staining
25 ug total protein per lane of various lysates (see on figure) probed with Adenosine Receptor A2a polyclonal antibody, unconjugated (bs-1456R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4°C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at r.t. for 60 min.
