Background:

This gene encodes a CXC chemokine receptor specific for stromal cell-derived factor-1. The protein has 7 transmembrane regions and is located on the cell surface. It acts with the CD4 protein to support HIV entry into cells and is also highly expressed in breast cancer cells. Mutations in this gene have been associated with WHIM (warts, hypogammaglobulinemia, infections, and myelokathexis) syndrome. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized. Monomer. Can form dimers.

Formalin-fixed and paraffin embedded human cervical carcinoma labeled with Rabbit Anti phospho-CXCR4(Ser339) Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-12256R) at 1:200 followed by conjugation to the secondary antibody and DAB staining


Mouse Spleen cells(black) were incubated in 5% BSA blocking buffer for 30 min at room temperature. Cells were then stained with CXCR4 (Ser339) Polyclonal Antibody(bs-12256R)at 1:50 dilution in blocking buffer and incubated for 30 min at room temperature, washed twice with 2% BSA in PBS, followed by secondary antibody(blue) incubation for 40 min at room temperature. Acquisitions of 20,000 events were performed. Cells stained with primary antibody (green), and isotype control (orange).


Lane 1: Mouse Lung lysates; Lane 2: Mouse Spleen lysates; Lane 3: Mouse Uterus lysates; Lane 4: Mouse Lymph node lysates probed with CXCR4 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-12256R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4˚C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at 1:20000 for 60 min at 37˚C.
