Background:
Plays an important role in targeting the monocarboxylate transporters SLC16A1, SLC16A3 and SLC16A8 to the plasma membrane. Plays pivotal roles in spermatogenesis, embryo implantation, neural network formation and tumor progression. Stimulates adjacent fibroblasts to produce matrix metalloproteinases (MMPS). Seems to be a receptor for oligomannosidic glycans. In vitro, promotes outgrowth of astrocytic processes.

VALIDATION IMAGES
Mouse brain lysates probed with CD147 Polyclonal Antibody, unconjugated (bs-0684R) at 1:300 overnight at 4°C followed by a conjugated secondary antibody at 1:10000 for 60 minutes at 37°C.
MCF-7 cells probed with CD147 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-0684R) at 3ug for 30 minutes followed by incubation with a FITC conjugated secondary (green) for 30 minutes compared to control cells (blue), secondary only (light blue) and isotype control (orange).
Lane 1: Mouse Liver lysates; Lane 2: Rat Liver lysates; Lane 3: Human HepG2 cell lysates; Lane 4: Human U251 cell lysates; Lane 5: Human MCF-7 cell lysates probed with CD147 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-0684R) at 1:1000 dilution and 4˚C overnight incubation. Followed by conjugated secondary antibody incubation at 1:20000 for 60 min at 37˚C.
